CLARK - A Superman Story

It's been said that the story of Superman is not about the strong and powerful, but rather the meek and ordinary who aspire to become so.

I wanted to build off that idea by depicting my own "Else-Worlds" story about Clark Kent in his early childhood and on the verge of discovering his superpowers:

Like every kid, Clark Kent fantasized about flying. He loved to learn about space exploration and would often have a recurring dream about being placed into a tiny, glowing spacecraft by blobby-looking people with strange diamond-shaped symbols on their chests; just before their home planet blew them to smithereens, he'd be sent through space and land on a small, earth-like planet. He would often act out his own space explorations in the backyard, holding a stick, symbolizing a flagpole, while his mother would hang laundry out to dry.

Though Clark has great ambitions, he's a rather quiet and sensitive young boy in front of most people. At school, Clark is rather shy and spend most of his spare time reading books on ancient myths. The only friend he's made there is a nice young lady named Lana Lang, who shares the same class as him. For Clark, the world seems a little bit brighter whenever he's around her.

But everything changes when Clark discovers he has remarkable superhuman abilities! When Jonathan and Martha Kent tell their son of his birth parents, Clark has to learn that all the answers he's looking for will only be revealed by taking a journey within himself.

I understand that hardcore comic book fans take their cannon stuff quite seriously, so I apologize in advance for altering the lore. PLEASE DON'T JUDGE ME!
