Description
Sorry I haven't posted a new drawing in almost a month. I've been going through another art block, recently. But, this was something I wanted to draw for a while now.

Here's some Kong fan art I drew in preparation for the upcoming film, Kong: Skull Island. I've been reading some early reviews of it online, recently. I've been hearing some pretty good things about it, so I'm more excited for it now than ever!
I've already re-watched some of the old King Kong films in preparation for this one, including the original 1933 film, the 2005 Peter Jackson remake, and King Kong vs. Godzilla (1962). I'll probably re-watch Godzilla (2014), as well, since Skull Island is officially in-canon with Legendary Picture's Godzilla Universe (aka "The MonsterVerse"). Can't wait for their rematch in 2020!

I experimented with the lining in this one, just because I'd like to have cleaner looking line work in my digital drawings. Unlike my previous drawings where I ink the lines with a traditional pen and scan them into my computer to clean them up via Microsoft Paint, I decided to just scan the raw sketch instead and do the line work in Microsoft Paint. I'm mostly happy with how this turned out, though I don't think there's much of a difference between my traditional ink lines and my digital ink lines. Please let me know what you think! I'd really appreciate it! ^^

I think I’m more of a Kong guy. But Godzilla is cool too.
