Lauren, Ruby, and Jerryby ~nerdsman567

Meet Henry's friends Lauren Cartel, Ruby Cartel, and Jerry Berks.

Lauren (Left) is Ruby's little sister. At only 8 years old, Lauren is mostly known for being Ruby's "Weirdo Sister" for her obsessive desire to collect strange objects in jars and for staring at others with her weird, crooked smile. She loves animals, especially cats, but can be rather too affectionate to them and sometimes has complete disregard for their safety. She has a HUGE crush on Henry Gloom; she sometimes gets too attached to him and sometimes offers him bizarre gifts in hopes to one day marry him. Though she's not entirely smart, even for her age, it's uncertain whether or not she's just dumb on purpose or if she plays dumb just to get under everyone's skin.

Ruby (Middle) is Lauren's big sister. For a 10 year old girl, Ruby is very outgoing. She's a loyal friend and does her best to keep her promises (With a few exceptions). In her spare time, she loves to express her artistic genius through drawing and painting and loves to play soccer. Like her sister Lauren, Ruby has a love for animals, especially bunnies, and has a big crush on Henry. Even though she and him are good childhood friends, Ruby is very shy about telling him her true feelings. She's not enthusiastic about Henry's interests in the creepy and supernatural and tends to disbelieve his ability to see other creatures, but Ruby tries her best to cope with his fascinations since he tends to be more sensitive whenever she's around. With a caring heart for both friends and furries, this little redhead won't let you down.

Jerry (Right) is Henry Gloom's best friend. Knowing each other since kindergarten, Jerry and Henry are like brothers from another mother. Jerry is mostly known for his childish antics like pulling pranks on his buddies and being straight-up silly. Like Henry, he has a big interest in the creepy and supernatural. He's the only one who believes in Henry's ability to see ghosts, goblins, and other creatures. In some cases, he's a reliable ally in helping Henry and his Uncle Randall in researching these entities and putting a stop to them. Even though he can't see them himself, Jerry trusts his friend and is always ready to lend a hand or cause some mischief.

So you have a concept revolving around a guy named Gloom, and he has a redhaired friend name Ruby?

Now, I'm not saying that that the whole thing loooks too much like Ruby Gloom, because it doesn't, but it's difficult for me to look past those names

Well I'm afraid you'll just have to get use to it 'cause those are the names I'm sticking with.
Also, I just realized if Henry Gloom and Ruby Cartel were to get married, she would actually be called Ruby Gloom. lol I honestly didn't see that coming!!
