Mighty Morphin Melody

Sorry this pic has nothing to do with Power Rangers. I just really liked the alliteration.

Synopsis:

When Melody comes back to Gravity Falls from her hometown of Portland, Oregon, Soos is elated to be with her again after months of their long-distance relationship. But after getting wind of Melody getting teased for her looks back at home, Soos tries to make his girlfriend feel better by "buying" her a new necklace (aka stealing one while rummaging through Grunkle Stan's personal belongings). Melody is in love with her new gift and flattered by Soos's kindness.

What Soos doesn't know is the necklace he took was an ancient artifact known as The Amulet of Tyrabelle! Tyrabelle was the long lost Goddess of Eternal Beauty. Before she was eventually banished off the physical plane, she stored part of her spirit within the jewel of an amulet. Any woman who wears this amulet will possess a small portion of Tyrabelle's powers, including her beauty and strength, as well as her flirtatious, self-absorbed personality (Don't ask what happens when a man wears it ).

*Just for the sake of convenience, let's just assume that Grunkle Stan got this amulet as a gift from Grunkle Ford, stashed it for later, hoping to make a fortune with it, but then completely forgot about it years later.

Shortly after putting on the amulet, Melody soon undergoes her transformation, becoming taller and more beautiful in her appearance, even gaining an extremely attractive voice (Hence, the chance in font). Melody acknowledges that her sudden metamorphosis makes her feel good (Both physically and emotionally), becoming more and more confident as the amulet's magic takes hold of her. For a time, a majority of the town is transfixed by Melody's new look, entranced by her supernatural beauty. However, Soos finds himself more stunned and confused by his girlfriend's sudden transformation. However, the more admiration Melody receives for her looks, the more confident she becomes. The more confident she becomes, the more powerful the amulet becomes. As the amulet gradually manifests itself onto Melody, it unlocks its true power, causing Melody to grow to giant size at 50 feet tall, becoming a demi-goddess ("Goddess Melody", as I like to call her )! With the remnants of Tyrabelle's spirit taking control over Melody's mind, she proclaims to the town that she shall take over the town! Most of the townspeople (Now transfixed by her beauty) do not appose her announcement, say for a few people like Soos, Mabel, Wendy, and Grunkle Stan, who are able to look passed Melody's appearance, since the amulet's power is still relatively weak. Unfortunately, Dipper is helpless to look away from the sheet beauty of a demi-goddess. Even Mabel acknowledges that it's useless to break her brother away from his fantasies.

Before the amulet can emit its full power, Soos manages to get through to the "real" Melody, telling her the truth about him stealing the amulet from Grunkle Stan, though he admits he only did it to make her feel better about herself. He tells her that he only wanted her to stop feeling bad about herself and that she shouldn't worry so much about how other people see her. He then begs her to take off the amulet so she can shrink back to normal, but Melody admits to him that she likes feeling like a goddess. She also tells Soos that someone as nice as him deserves someone better than her, but Soos then tells her that he mainly liked her "For her" (aka Her personality). He then asks her if she thinks being admired by hundreds of people is more important than having a personal relationship with him. She humbly says no. Using her demi-goddess strength, Melody rips off the amulet from her neck, breaking the lace, and tosses it as far as she can throw it, right before she shrinks down back to her original form. As the entranced townspeople break free of the amulet's magic, Soos and Melody share a romantic hug.
