This should NOT be confused with "Pet Sematary" by Stephen King.
I thought I'd bring back another one of my lesser used OCs, Adam Scoller.
Shortly after adopting a new goldfish, Marilyn is suddenly faced with the brink of death when she accidently kills it. Feeling guilty, she rushes off to her friend Adam, believing he is smart enough to fix her dilemna. She begs him to help her, but it just so happens that Adam has been reading up on how electricity can effect the living body. So Mary and Adam team up together to conduct an experiment to bring her goldfish back to life. When the experiment succeeds, they assume the fish is still dead and they bury him in the local pet cemetery. But turns out, Marilyn's gold fish is back to reality, but is not quite the same fish he once was. It turns out that he has transformed into a half-minded zombie with electric super powers; he can conduct bolts of lightning which can bring other dead creatures back from the grave, including cats, dogs, lizards, rabbits, and hamsters. On top of that, when the creatures bite living people, they can also turn into zombies; The shock does not effect the dead people because the jolts of electricity aren't strong enough. When Mary and Adam discover this, they realize they have to find Marilyn's fish and pull the plug on him once and for all.
As you can tell, this story is mostly inspired by Tim Burton's "Frankenweenie," which I do plan on seeing some time soon. But, actually, I was also inspired by the new rendition of "Pet Semetary" by The Plain White T's as well: [link]
To be honest I kinda have this similar idea but it Involved dark magic, accidental Lightning, only one Zombie, a vampire called Zally and a loser called Willie. They go and try to Resurrect Zallys friend Valarie who died two years ago trying to protect her from Yasnem (Zallys older half-sister) The necromancy page of the book Zally found was in Mexican so only Willie could read it (secret other thing that involves mafia-type stuff) while reading it a electrical storm brewed up and struck Valaries body. although alive she can't help it if she fries someone with electricity... that's all I'm saying about that story...
This whole thing also reminds me of Dexter's Laboratory, partly because Adam looks like Dexter, but also partly because had an "undead goldfish" episode once.
