Shines and Glazes

I thought I'd introduce everybody to the rest of Marilyn's relatives from both sides of the family: The Shines: Dad's side (Left) and The Glazes: Mom's side (Right). I'm pretty sure you can tell which side is which.

For the characters I've drawn before, I'll leave a link to their bios.

Laura "Gram Gram" Shine (Grand Mother): Laura is Marilyn's Grandma from her father's side. At her age, she's kind, outgoing, and has a lot of spunk. However, she's not always up to date with the modern world. Over time, Laura has lost her hair, but wears a wig to cover her blemish (She's also in constant denial of it). While she has aged gracefully, this old gal still has a spark to her.

Jeffrey "Pappy" Shine (Grand Father): Jeffrey is Marilyn's Grandpa from her dad's side. He hails from the land of Scotland (So he has bit of an accent). He loves to tell stories of how he fought through World War II, even at the most random occasions. At times, he's a tad loopy in the head, but has a the heart of a bull.

Arnold Shine (Uncle): He's Mary's uncle and her father's little brother. As kids, Arnold was a more socially accepted than Aaron. When they went their separate ways as adults, Arnold became a successful cartoonist and had a lovely daughter, Karen. Though he's not the most brightest of personalities, both Marilyn and her father love Arnold all the same.

Gerald Glaze (Uncle): Gerald Glaze is Marilyn's uncle and her mother's older brother. He lives in England with his wife, daughter, and elderly mother. As children, Gerald always saw himself as the better sibling and would always leave his baby sister, Clarissa, all by her lonesome. Now as an adult, he's become a snooty business man who mainly obsesses over his work. Even now, Gerald will always see Clarissa as his baring little sister.

Scarlet Glaze (Aunt): Scarlet is Mary's Aunt and Gerald Glaze's wife. She lives with Gerald in England with their daughter, Madilyn, and his mother, Mirabell. She works as a painter and sells her paintings for outrageous amounts of money. Like Gerald, she's snooty, snobby, and cares only for her work. God only knows what she sees in Gerald.

Madilyn "Mady" Shine (Cousin): [link]

Mirabell "Granny" Shine (Grand Mother): Mirabell is Marilyn's Grandma from her mother's side. She lives with Clarissa's brother and his family over in England. In her younger years, Mirabell married Mary's grandfather, Oliver Glaze (GrandPap), who amazed her with is creation of gadgets and robotics. But after GrandPap passed away at age 85, things have never been the same for her. The finds the unity of her family the only comfort she has in this world. When Marilyn and her family visit her, she can't help but see a small glance of GrandPap still shining inside of Mary. She would love to stay with them, but she doesn't want to give any trouble. For Mirabell, their presence is all she needs to feel loved.
